the aurora have two ac temp. sensor one of them are bad
Answering "Why would the AC blow cold air on the drivers side while hot air blows on the passengers side even when all controls are set on cold 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora ?
it could be the heater core and ac housing unit that allows hot air to be mixed with the cold air or it could just cancel out the cold due to the motion of the car
Try getting it recharged.
The system is low on freon...........
You will need to replace the rear expansion block valve and the recharge the system with freon and oil..............
a/c blows warm air when idles cold when running
One thing to do is to check the A/C Relay. Mine wasn't plugged in once and it did that.
Usually is a vacuum problem. The vacuum works through the climate controls to make the vent doors open and close.
Most likely the rear expansion tube or valve is defective.
blend door is possibly stuck or linkage is broken. turn fan off and switch from hot to cold slowly while listening under dash. you should hear the door close if not check there firstType your answer here...
My 1998 Intrigue did the same thing after battery was replaced. Found the answer online. Turn the AC and car off, disconnect the battery, wait 5 minutes, open both front doors, reconnect the battery, start car, turn on the AC full cold. This resets the computer and the AC works perfectly!
your ac is not eating oil
