There are a wide variety of things that could cause this to happen - when was the last time the car had a tune-up? There is a good chance that it could be a miss in the engine due to a fault in a plug or plug wire. However, at the same time it could easily be a vacuum leak or a number of other issues. Best to have someone who knows cars take it for a drive and offer their advice.

well you can do you turn the car off after or do you just do it at stop lights? If you put it in neutral at stop lights and signes and then put in gear to drive it add wear to your transmision. Just leave it in drive when driveing.

If your car shakes when stopped in drive but not in park, it may indicate an issue with the engine mounts or transmission. Worn engine mounts can allow excessive engine movement, causing vibrations during idle in gear. Additionally, it could be related to a vacuum leak, misfiring engine, or problems with the idle air control valve. It's advisable to have a mechanic diagnose the issue to ensure safe operation.
