The year and/or accumulated mileage of the CR-V is not given in the question - SO - Possibilities are: spark plugs need changing - distributor needs work - fuel filter is clogged - fuel pump needs replacing. These are all pretty basic if one or more of these in combination is not the problem you will need to have it put on a computer diagnosis readout to see what kind of OBD codes show up.
it was a bad ignition rotor
2600 rpms are very low for a gasoline engine much less a highperformance engine. if it was me, I'de find a turbo 400 transmission. They are a lot stronger. They were common in pickups and stationwagons. they should also cost about the same to have built.
Could be your idle valve
change yer fuel filter?
probably need to adjust your valves
If you have it in too high of gear and traveling at a low speed the starts to die and restarts because it is a manual transmission, all you have to do is shift to a lower gear.
Chances are it is a stuck fuel injector, or possibly a vacuum line leak.
2002 nisian max engine rpm 2000 but will not go above has no code
it is propaly you fuel pump i had the same problem
about 12, 13,000 RPMS.
lower rpms use less gas higher rpms have more power
If you have an engine that idles at 6000 rpms, you need to have it checked - immediately. Around 750 rpms would be normal.
