Low of coolant, blown head gasket, cooling fan not working, thermostat stuck closed, radiator stopped up or debris clogging the outside of the cooling fins, or water pump defective.
it turns off and on depending on how hot or cold you are running its all on your thermostat
You need to determine if it loses spark or fuel when it stops running. Once you have that info re-post the question with that info and include the year and engine of the Honda Accord.
In hot weather my Honda Accord 2000 starts but idles rough and dies.
has it been running before you try to start. it is overheating or you have a bad starter.
crank no start hot weather1991 Honda accord no start hot . but will start for a second with starting fluid . not getting fuel
Compressor not running? Check fuses, check switch
It is broken. AC's usually blow cold air.
It is cooling the engine off. Your Honda may be running slightly hot. I suggest you service the cooling system. Drain, flush, replace the thermostat, install a 50/50 mix of antifreeze & distilled water, bleed air from system.
Check the radiator fan operation.
HI, I would suggest you check the ignitor .My 1993 Honda Accord LX had the same symptoms. Mary
A thermostat is used to keep the engine set at a specific temperature. A Honda Accord can run without one in specific environments where the weather is normally hot.
is the blower motor running? or is it just not blowing hot air?
