It's most likely a blow head gasket. If it has been overheated a couple of times it's most likely a warped/cracked head. Check to see if there is water vapour coming from the tailpipe. If there is water in the oil (the oil will look like there's milk in it and is sometimes foamy) and after the motor is hot, take the oil filler cap off and look for steam (steam will look different from smoke - it will dissipate soon after leaving the engine compartment). If these things are true for this car I would recommend trying a head gasket repair kit like "QuickSteel" or something similar, beacuse having the head gasket replaced and/or having the head remachined is well over what this car is now and has been worth for at least 15 years.
Blown h20 seal in engine or turbo !!
in a diesel engine, no power and blowing white smoke, indicates a bad turbo on the engine
its farting
you take it to a mechanic
under the engine block is wet and it is blowing a lot of white smoke
supercharger seals could be bad
You can drive a diesel engine, or any other type, blowing any colour smoke you wish. Though it is pretty foolish to smoke
I had that happen to me with a V8 I was driving once. Turned out that I had a crook head gasket and oil was being sucked into cylinder head burnt and then out the exhaust. That is white smoke, You it might also be worn oil rings, (white smoke) Or if you are running on a rich fuel mixture you may be blowing black smoke.
change the head gaskets
Cold start
In some books that are about the animal's point of view, they might say that a man is blowing on a white stick. They are simply a cigarette the man is blowing on.
Possible that there is oil in your intake.
