Could be a Canadian Civic(?) Could be a broken light switch on US Civic - the parking lights include a small white light on the front.
DRL - Daytime Running Lights
You can buy a DRL module for a Honda Civic 2002 LX at most auto part stores. Salvage yards also carry the item.
Your daytime running lights (DRL) are on.
You probably need a new DRL module and/or DRL relay. In some instances the module is fixible.
under the dash (left hand side), behind the hood release
yeah i get that too still trying to figure out what caused that but i believe it all started when my car battery died
Typically one cannot disable a drl on the 2003 Honda Accord because it is a required safety feature. To disable the drl you would have to take it to any Honda service center and have them disable the drl for you. They would have to disconnect the required attachments to successfully disable the drl without compromising the rest of the mechanisms.
6Exact same problem. I'm not sure how to fix quite yet, but I do know. It's the Daytime Running Lights "DRL" Notice if you turn on your lights the DRL light turns off. There's ome sort of daytime running lights box that's starting to go. It's about 200 bux to fix at a dealership. But there's gotta be a better way.
The DRL Module is located at the LH Rocker Panel left of the brake, under and just below the dash. The DRL Module and the DRL Relay are side-by-side.
Yes, the 2001 Corvette has a fuse for the Daytime Running Lights (DRL). You can find it in the fuse box located under the hood. The specific fuse for the DRL is usually labeled in the fuse diagram found on the cover of the fuse box. If the DRL is not functioning, checking this fuse is a good initial troubleshooting step.
I've got an older model than yours, but couldn't you simply pull the fuse that controls the DRL circuit?
Yes, a Canadian DRL (Daytime Running Lights) module for a 2004 Honda Element can typically be plugged into a US version of the same vehicle and enable DRLs without additional modifications. This is because the wiring harness and compatibility are generally the same between Canadian and US models. However, it's always advisable to verify the specific part numbers and consult a professional if unsure to ensure proper functionality.
