there could be so many things. first you might want to check if the battery is dead then the timing belt and then maybe the starter. also if your battery is goin dead alot check the alternator
i have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma truck and had an accident and know my truck wont start and i don't have a manual, can you tell me were i can find the cut off switch , thanks.
You need three things to start a car: fuel, air, and an ignition source. Start by checking the air filter, the sparkplugs, and the gas level. If its not one of these it may be your battery or something more serious
Clicking can mean a loose connection between battery and starter. Follow wire to starter and clean/tighten connector at starter.
yu gotta program it
You need to narrow down the possiblities, check for spark, check for fuel, then check compression. One of those is missing.
broken stsarter or ring gear.
try checking your timing chain. I had the exact same thing happen to me for about one month then my timing chain broke on a 12 year old 1981 Toyota Celica with a lot of km's.
Weak battery
I have a Toyota with the 22r engine and it will start when its cold but it when it gets worm it wont start with out help
i have the same problem with my 1992 celica the lights wont flip up? i have changed both of the light motors but still no joy?, also there is a blue box under where the steering wheel is i changed that aswell but still no joy? its really annoying me now???
chances are to start with the fuel filter if that's not it try the fuel pump
I would check and see how much compression you have wet and dry and start from there
