There may be something blocking the trunk.
probably a bad sensor, just take it to the dealer to have it checked
You might have to crawl intoi the trunk thru the back seat to release it..

Mine wont either, not sure what the problem is. I checke all the doors including trunk and hood! Not sure what to do or why its doing it?
If the relay is functioning but the trunk won't open, it could be an issue with the trunk release mechanism or a blown fuse. First, check the fuse related to the trunk release in the fuse box. i have a 2001 Honda CR-V and i open it by sticking the key in and turning it then the glass will pop up then pull out the door.

check your valet switch in your glove box make sure its not on they wont operate with it on
There is a switch by the trunk lid and sounds like it needs replacing.
