Check your wiring maybe wire is not properly connected!
It's a pretty safe bet that when you rewired them, you messed something up/crossed a wire or wires. Time to carefully go back through your wiring job. You'll know that you got it right when the windows work the way they are supposed to.
As was said above, you need to make sure that all wires not only connect correctly but also soldered properly. If you are sure that everything is correct and it still does not work, check the fuse box. Most likely the fuse responsible for windows was blown.
