The idle control valve on a Daewoo car is typically located on or near the throttle body, which is usually situated on the intake manifold. It may be mounted directly on the throttle body or connected via hoses. To locate it precisely, refer to the specific service manual for your Daewoo model, as the position can vary between different models and engine configurations.
To change the manifold gasket on a 2000 Daewoo Matiz, first disconnect the battery and remove any components obstructing access to the manifold, such as the air intake and exhaust components. Then, unbolt the manifold from the engine, carefully remove the old gasket, and clean the surfaces to ensure a proper seal. Place the new gasket in position, reattach the manifold, and tighten the bolts to the manufacturer's specifications before reassembling any removed components. Finally, reconnect the battery and start the engine to check for leaks.
