bank 1 sensor 1 is in the exhaust manifold on the firewall side of the engine. bank 2 sensor 1 is in the exhaust manifold on the radiator side of the engine. bank 1 sensor 2 is in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter.
The 2002 Toyota Camry XLE has four oxygen sensors. There are two sensors on the exhaust manifold ,and one before and one after the catalytic converter.
At least for a California 96 Camry, the O2 sensors are right up front as you open the hood. There is one just before the catalytic converter and one one the end of the catalytic converter. You can identify them as the only "plugs" that have wires running from them which are connected to the exhaust system.
The 2002 2.4L has 4. 2 on the exhaust manifolds, one before the catalytic converter and one after.
The oxygen sensors are in two spots on a 2005 Toyota Camry. They are on either side of the catalytic converter, which makes up part ofÊthe exhaust pipe.
On a 1990 Toyota Camry, the oxygen (O2) sensor is typically located in the exhaust system, just before the catalytic converter. Depending on the engine type, there may be one or two sensors: the upstream sensor is positioned before the catalytic converter, while a downstream sensor is located after it. You can usually find it mounted on the exhaust manifold or the exhaust pipe.
One is in the exhaust manifold next to the engine, another one is after the catalytic converter (4 cylinder).
One above cat/converter on each bank and one on exhaust pipe below each converter. Follow the electrical wires.
There are two sensors in that exhaust system. Only one is called an O2 sensor and it is located in the exhaust system after the catalytic converter, also known as downstream.. The other sensor is called an Air/Fuel Sensor and is located before the catalytic converter, also known as upstream.
There are 3 Oxygen Sensors on a 97 Toyota Camry with a 3.0 liter v6.An oxygen sensor is mounted on each exhaust manifold (left and right), And the third is mounted on the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter.
What type of sensors are you talking about? There are many sensors, and many different types.
what sensors have you replaced?? i am assuming the oxygen sensors. i need a code number to tell you what is wrong. if its a p0420 its probabily the catalytic converter. mabye a p0141-mass air flow needs to be cleaned
It has two of them. One is before catalytic converter and second one is after.
