Stars are much much bigger than the moon. They only appear to be smaller because they are so far away as compared to the moon.

A star is a gigantic celestial body of hot gas that radiates energy derived from thermonuclear reactions in the interior. The moon appears bigger because it is so much closer to us than the stars. The sun is also considered as a star.
it depends some stars are huge,10x the sun, and some are puny, smaller or about the same as the moon
Because it is way closer than other stars!
The moon is bigger than most stars as seen from Earth, but it is much smaller than the majority of stars in the universe. Stars vary greatly in size, with some being hundreds or even thousands of times larger than the moon.
The moon is much closer to Earth than any other star, which makes it appear larger in the sky. Stars are actually much larger than the moon, but their distance from Earth makes them appear as tiny points of light in the night sky.
Our local star, the SUN, is very much bigger than the Moon. In fact all the total masses of all the planets and satellites, would fit easily inside the SUN, with space in the Sun remaining. Our Sun , is a very ordindary Star both by size and mass compared to other stars. Other stars appear to be so small, is because they are so far away (many light years).

It's not, the stars are bigger but the are farther away so they look smaller. Note, there are collapsed stars of degenerate matter known as neutron stars that would be substantially smaller than our moon (maybe a quarter mile across), but have a mass closer to that of our sun. These are a special case of star. White dwarf stars would also be fairly small, though not nearly as small as our moon. Closer to the size of earth.
Yes, much bigger. There are many stars in our galaxy, thousands of millions of them. Everything you see in the night sky is in our galaxy, including the Moon, so the galaxy is much bigger.

that is not true the sun is bigger than the moon The moon is much, much, much smaller than the sun. It only looks bigger because the sun is much farther away than the moon. Many stars are much bigger than the sun, but they only look like points of light because they are so much more farther away.
Yes. They look smaller but they are bigger. They only look smaller because they are further away.
Correct. The moon appears larger than the stars because it is much closer to us.
Moon illusion is when the moon seems bigger when it is rising. So really the moon is not bigger it is in the mind.
Because it is the closest star to us. This is the same reason that a quarter looks larger than the moon if you hold it up. The quarter is much closer to you than the moon, so it looks bigger, but it is not really bigger than the moon.
