A Solar Eclipse is when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun.
In a linear order it is Earth, Moon, Sun.
Visually, the Sun's light is totally blocked out, and it breifly becomes night and cold.
They occur at New Moon
A Lunar Eclipse is when the Earth passes between the Moon and the Sun .
In a linear order it is Moon, Earth, Sun.
Visually, the very bright sunlight reflected from the Full Moon changed to a dull red or grey colour. It is NOT totally blacked out from vision. This colour change is due to reflected light from Earth on to the Moon's surface. and then reflected back to Earth, so we can see it.
They occur at Full Moon.
NB Eclipses do NOT occur at every New/Full Moon because the Moon's orbit about the Earth is angled at about 5 degrees to the Earth's orbit about the Sun. It is only when these two orbits intersect(cross) at the appropriate Moon phase, that we see an eclipse.
NNB Eclipses only last for a few minutes.
A lunar eclipse is the passage of the Earth between the Moon and the Sun.
Then we see full moons. If the Earth passes PRECISELY between the Sun and the Moon, then we see a lunar eclipse.
This phenomenon is called a lunar eclipse. During a lunar eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, causing the Earth's shadow to fall on the Moon, blocking the sunlight and causing the Moon to appear darkened or reddish in color.
A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, blocking the Sun's light from reaching the Moon. This alignment causes the Earth's shadow to fall on the Moon, resulting in a lunar eclipse.
A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon. A solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, blocking the Sun's light.
A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, blocking the sunlight. A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon, causing Earth's shadow to cover the moon.
There are two types of eclipse : 1)Lunar eclipse 2)Solar eclipse Lunar eclipse is a situation, when the earth comes between sun and moon.

There are two types of eclipse : Lunar eclipse (moon), Solar eclipse (sun) . Lunar eclipse is a situation, when the earth comes between sun and moon.
No that's a solar eclipse in a lunar eclipse the Earth is between the sun and moon.
lunar eclipse. lunar = moon, solar=sun. lunar eclipse= moon eclipsed
The lunar eclipse happens when the moon comes between the earth and the sun.
solar eclipse is when the moon comes between the sun and the earth but in a lunar eclipse the earth comes between the sun and the moon
A solar eclipse happens when the moon (that is passing between the sun and earth) covers the sun. At same point, the sun will only be partially visible (parcial eclipse) or will not visible at all (total eclipse). A lunar eclipse happens when the earth is between the sun and the moon. When sunlight hits the earth it projects a shadow and, if the moon is somewhere in the area of that shadow, it will not be visible.
You can breed a Lunar Eclipse dragon using the following combinations: Lunar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse, Lunar Eclipse and Solstice, Equinox and Lunar Eclipse, Blue Moon and Lunar Eclipse, Lunar Eclipse and Solar Eclipse, Lunar Eclipse and Moon, and Lunar Eclipse and Sun.
Then we see full moons. If the Earth passes PRECISELY between the Sun and the Moon, then we see a lunar eclipse.
This is called a lunar eclipse. (A solar eclipse occurs when the new moon passes between the earth and the sun.)
