Can humans live on a star?

It is not possible because a star is just a burning ball of gas in space. There is no gravity to keep you on the star, and the star would burn you before you even reach it. There is no air, or even oxygen on the star, therefre you cannot breathe. Stars are gas and are not solid, so it is impissible for someone to live there.

You are orbiting one now. Our sun is orbiting the center of the Milky Way, and it is partly the gravity of the black hole in the center of the galaxy that is keeping us in galactic orbit. There are recorded observations of stars in rapid orbit around the black holes at the centers of their galaxies. Perhaps one day we will be able to orbit black holes in space vehicles, if there is a need to do so, and if it can be done at safe distances and velocities.
