Not without the aid of a breathing apparatus. Mar's atmosphere is nearly 96 % carbon dioxide.
Humans cannot breathe on Mars. The atmosphere is thin and made almost entirely of carbon dioxide, a poisonous gas.
Without being encapsulated with an oxygen supply? If you did it wouldn't be long before you were not breathing at all.
The atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide (what we breathe out), and very tiny amounts of oxygen (what we breathe in). So air there does not have what we need, to breathe it successfully, but that's not the entire problem. Mars is also very cold. In fact you'd freeze to death before realizing that you were suffocating.
No you could not breath the air on Mars, first the atmosphere is very thin (it is at a very low pressure 0.6 kPa, compared to Earth's 101.3 kPa) and second the atmosphere contains no oxygen.
The atmosphere on Mars consists of 95% carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6% argon. The atmosphere is also quite dusty, giving the Martian sky a tawny color when seen from the surface.
You can't breathe on Mars. it doesn't have any oxygen.
Depends on what you mean by breathe.
You could make your lungs move, but there's neither enough pressure or oxygen to sustain human life. It's very cold too.
No, it is not. It's like on the moon and outer space. There is not enough oxygen to breath on Mars. (It would be possible to breath if you had a sufficient space suit, though.
No, you would have to make an enclosed greenhouse with plants in it to create the Oxygen needed to live.
You dont
im sorry but there is no aliens 8)
no. unless they have an astrounot suit or a breathing tube.
Because one, there is no atmosphere we can breathe and two, it is really, really cold.
astronauts will need to take air to mars because the atmosphere on the planet cannot contain any oxygen, thus no oxygen to breathe.
Mars is the only place outside of Earth where we might be safe without a spacesuit for any amount of time. Not too sure about the temperature, but with a supply of oxygen one might be okay on the surface for for a bit. The possibility of "terraforming" Mars is something any of us can understand. if we can get plant life from Earth there to create oxygen (forget the water problem), since Earth plants breathe in carbon dioxide (Mars air) and breathe out oxygen for us, we might be able to live there in domed habitats.
Breathe
You can moonwalk anywhere. But you can't breathe on Mars.

mars is red BECAUSE of its super weak and bad atmosphere. so you could hardly breathe HARDLY.
the water is frozen; Mars's minimal atmosphere is not enough to breathe or keep it warm.
I think they would breathe with carbon dioxide and would live on mars.
Yes humans will suffocat on Mars. Human depend on Oxygen to breathe and without oxygen, we will die. Oxygen is present in th Earth's atmosphere and it is not on Mars. To survive on Mars, we need to use an astronaut's suit with oxygen support.
A spacesuit/spaceman outfit with a helmet that supplies air so that you can breathe

Well. Cyanobacteria were the first life forms on Earth that did not require oxygen to breathe. I think there is probably life on Mars. But I don't really know for sure. But if there is life on Mars, it probably would be microscopic as cyanobacteria.
