Best Answer

-- You take a strong metal tank with you, full of compressed air.

-- You attach a regulator to the tank's faucet, which only lets the air out at a low pressure ... near the normal pressure of air on Earth.

-- You put an air-tight mask over your face, and connect a hose between the tank and the mask.

So far, it's almost exactly like how a Scuba diver breathes. But in space, you

need one more step before it works:

-- Make an airtight suit that fits over your whole body and fill it with air or

oxygen, at a pressure that's near the normal pressure of air on Earth.

There is no air in space. The only way you could breathe is if you had an air supply.

because there's no oxygen in space - nor is there any other gas for that matter

You could make your lungs move easily enough, but there's no air in space; it's essentially a vacuum. There's nothing there to to breathe. There is no atmosphere. There are less than 10 molecules of any given compound per cubic meter of space.

Also, the temperature is almost zero kelvin so if you ever go out in space please don't take off your helmet out there because you would also freeze to death almost instantaneously.

Space is a vacuum, so their is no air to breath.

You can, but you'd probably be killed first by either intense heat from the sun with no protection or the intense cold by being in the shadow of a planet or moon.

No. There is nothing to breathe.

No, not unless you use an external oxygen tank and method to deliver the oxygen to your lungs.

There is nothing to breathe in space-- you do not breathe unless you have brought your own air supply along with you.
