-- You can see a rainbow at any time of day when the sun is behind you in clear sky,
and the air in front of you is loaded with moisture, such as rain, mist, or heavy fog.
-- You can see a dim rainbow at any time of night when the moon is behind you in clear sky,
and the air in front of you is loaded with moisture, such as rain, mist, or heavy fog.
There is no "why" because it's possibl to see a rainbow at night, but rare. The reason is that the source of the colors in the rainbow during the day is the sun, whereas the source at night can only be the moon, which is much less bright, so any rainbow at night would be much less noticeable.
The rainbows are leaning out from the sky (not touching the sky) Thus making the rainbow visible. Another explanation is that the colours are brighter and more powerful than the sky's ordinary blue!Thank you for reading!!
The rainbow is almost always in the day sky, produced by sunlight. Very rarely, one can appear in the night sky, produced by moonlight.
A rainbow is formed when sunlight passes through a water droplet and refracts into the entire colour spectrum. You can see a rainbow when it is cloudy because there are far more water droplets in the sky, and therefore more chances that you will see a rainbow. Rainbows, however , are far more common during a sun shower, as there is more unreflected light in the sky
you will be lucky a have a great day
When there is sunshine, shining on the moisture that rises from the falls, a rainbow can be seen. As the moisture rises it can also turn to water and fall as a short shower on a sunny day. The sun shining on that will also cause a rainbow. So on any good day it is possible to see a rainbow there.

One doesn't have to be at any specific angle to see a rainbow. What is Dependent on seeing the rainbow is the location of the rain, and sun relative to you. The sun is always behind a rainbow when seen. So you would be in front of the rainbow, rain, and the sun. Also, No two people see the same rainbow unless a picture or video was taken of the rainbow.
A rainbow is a circle. What we see from almost any point on earth is a semicircle, or just a part of the rainbow. We can only see it from horizon to horizon, or just an arc of the whole rainbow. Occasionally we can see a full circle of a rainbow in the sky surrounding the sun, and sometimes multiple ones.
