It will, but not for a very very long time, in the order of 5 billion years. So don't hold your breath. The sun will slowly run out of fuel, and then expand to absorb all of the planets up to and including Mars. After this, it will shed its outer layers into space, creating quite a scene to look at, comparable to a supernova (though without the explosion). The planets, without the sun's gravity, will slowly drift off into space, cold and dead.
the earth would burn if the sun strike the earth
The sun does release a lot of heat and radiation, but it doesn't "burn" the Earth because the Earth's distance from the sun is within a habitable range that allows for the right conditions for life to exist. The Earth's atmosphere and magnetic field also help protect it from the sun's most harmful effects.
The sun cannot physically burn the Earth in the way a flame burns something combustible. However, the sun's energy and radiation can have detrimental effects on the Earth, such as causing sunburns, affecting climate patterns, and potentially leading to overheating of the planet if its output were to increase significantly.
Right here on earth! What do you think a "sun burn" is?
Spacecraft can get as close as about 5 million miles to the sun without burning up, thanks to special heat shields and insulation. However, any object that gets closer to the sun would face extreme heat and radiation, which can cause it to break down or burn up.
We will be burn just like sun burn

The sun's gravity would pull the earth in to it and the earth would burn up
Ultimately (in about 6 billion years) the sun will burn out and just before it does it will expand enough to engulf and burn up earth.
It wouldn't, because: If Earth was closer to the Sun, Earth would be so hot that even if you stay out in the Sun for a second, you may have a sun-burn!
The sun is in outer space above the earth. The earth rotates around the sun. It is not on the earth. It is millions of miles from the earth. The sun is a giant nuclear fusion reactor and will burn up the earth in seconds, if the earth were nearer to the sun than the planet mercury.
It is possible although its very unlikely, since it takes about 8 minutes for the sun's rays to get to the Earth the sun could burn out now and we wouldent know that the world is ending untill 8 minutes from now.
In the sun. You could burn it.
Well, basically the sun shall send off its nuclear power and send it down to earth so we will all start to burn and earth shall become the sun. The sun then shall suck all the people from earth, towns and cities to it in lightspeed, and then the sun shall become earth.Hope this helps.
The sun produces natural light and would kill us if we came near it, we would burn. Whereas Earth receives light from the sun.
