Tornadoes come from thunderstorms, usually, powerful rotating storms called supercells. However, tornadoes can sometimes form with squall lines, hurricanes, and in rare cases, single cell storms.
No, not all supercell thunderstorms cause tornadoes. Supercell thunderstorms are known for their rotating updrafts, which can lead to the formation of tornadoes. However, tornadoes are not always produced, as a combination of atmospheric conditions and other factors are necessary for them to form.
Tornadoes often, though not always, form along weather fronts, where air masses of differing characteristics collide. The fronts that most commonly produce tornadoes are cold fronts and dry lines.
Tornado Alley is a place, not en event. It is always there.

Get a place WEST of I-25. When the weather systems come out of the mountains the tornadoes form in the clouds but very rarely come down until they are east of I-25. I live west- have seen them form overhead and then move on. Very creepy.
