Does the sun's position in the sky affect the length of daylight ?
Exactly the same as the change in the sun's position from noon to sunset affects them ... they stay exactly opposite the direction of the sun, but they get longer.
The suns position changes to a different position on the earth. Thats why we have the different seasons in some states like Ohio, Illinois, Michigan and states that are not always hot or warm year round. ;^)
the earth is always revolving around the sun therefore changes the suns position here on earth
The Sun is in the same position it always is. The Earth changes, not the sun.
Actually the gravity cannot affect the suns movement. But without gravity, every planet would stop orbiting and sail off out of here in a straight line.
