Challenger and Columbia did not return
The first shuttle launched after the Challenger disaster was the Discovery shuttle, which returned to space on September 29, 1988. Discovery's mission, STS-26, was considered a success and marked the resumption of shuttle flights after a 32-month hiatus.
Glenn flew aboard the shuttle Discovery on the 8-day STS-95 mission, October 29- November 7, 1998.
The space shuttle as we term it has never landed on the moon and never will. The shuttle cannot leave Low Earth Orbit. Lunar landings have been done by capsules - or containers - that had very limited propulsion of their own and were part of yet another larger assemblage of equipment or landing modules. They were brought to orbit as part of yet another space vehicle. Not all of the landing module returned to orbit, and not all of what returned to orbit returned to Earth.
On April 12, 1981 the Space Shuttle Columbia, STS-1, became the first space shuttle to orbit the Earth. It returned to earth two days later, and was returned to Kennedy Space Center fourtenn days after that. No. Disney does not provide transportation to non-Disney parks (like Universal Studios). You can take a taxi, shuttle (from Mears), or rent a car if you want to visit Universal while staying at Pop Century. - Depending on where you stay (I stayed at Shades of Green in 2014 which is a Disney Resort) & they provided a shuttle to Universal Studios, but there was only ONE shuttle that left early in the morning (around 10 if I recall) & returned in the evening (around 7). If you missed it you were out of luck, while the Disney shuttles ran every 30 minutes or so.
