It took 3 days for Apollo 11 to reach the Moon after leaving Earth orbit.
Apollo 11
Apollo 11 took about three days to travel from Earth to the Moon. The mission launch was on July 16, 1969, and the spacecraft entered lunar orbit on July 19, 1969. The astronauts landed on the Moon's surface on July 20, 1969.
Apollo 11 was a mission, Saturn V was a rocket. The Apollo 11 mission was the first Apollo mission to land man on the moon, it use a Saturn V rocket to take off from earth and get in to orbit.
On the moon they used the 'space buggy', but to get off it they used apollo 11
Not really. If there was an observer between the moon and Earth during this mission, if they were orientated properly, they could have seen the Apollo 11 CSM and LM pass in front of the sun, but no one was there to see this. The moon is in orbit around the Earth. The space craft simply went from low Earth orbit to a higher orbit that intersected the moon's orbit. At no time did they travel further than 260,000 miles. The sun is 93,000,000 from the Earth. There would be no reason for the Apollo 11 craft to "pass the sun" to get to the moon.
