The earliest man undoubtedly was an astute observer of the universe. No lights from cities to make viewing difficult. The stars, the meteors, the planets and of course the moon were something of majesty to them. They soon learned the cycles and to navigate using the stars. Well the moon did have early misconceptions. The observers believed the areas of darker land were seas, and the more reflective areas land. It's amazing subject to think about. Thank you for your question.
I don’t know haha
Well yes and no. The phases of the moon were understood well before Galileo --- however Galileo discovered the moons of Jupiter and no doubt their associated phases --- as well as the phases of Venus.
Neil Armstrong and his team discovered that the moon has a dusty and rocky surface, with no atmosphere, water, or life forms. They also found that the moon has a lower gravity than Earth and is covered in craters caused by impacts from asteroids and meteors.
The first country to discover water on the moon was India, with the finding announced by India's space agency, ISRO, in 2009. This discovery was made by the Moon Impact Probe on board India's Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft.
The scientist discovered that the moon has a complex geological history marked by volcanic activity and impact cratering. They identified various lunar features, such as maria and highlands, and analyzed the moon's surface composition using remote sensing and sample analysis. Additionally, the research revealed insights into the moon's lack of atmosphere and its implications for space exploration.
moon rock
no he only dicovered the moon
she was at age 25 when she climbed the moon
The first time they looked upwards after the moon had risen.
He discovered it on the moon.
Pluto fourth moon is called Styx. It was discovered in 2012. The telescope used to discover Styx was also used to discover the moon Kerberos in 2011. The two moon are about 15 to 20 miles in diameter.
he discovered that there were craters on the moon
no one discovered the moon...you can see it from anywhere on earth (just about)
They discovered a significant amount of water in the Moon's Cabeus crater
Many of the larger craters on the moon can be seen from earth without a telescope, so nobody discovered craters on the moon with a telescope.
Galileo was the first
