People haven't left Earth orbit since 1972. But, when humans did go to the Moon (between 1969 and 1972), the only vehicles to take them were (boosters) Saturn V rockets, and (spacecraft) Apollo Command and Service Modules (CSM) and Lunar Modules (LM).
