Any trip to Wallmart, Tesco or other store should acquire enough boxes.
The money for HST came from NASA's budget and from the European Space Agency (ESA). The ESA provided funding for a guarantee of 15% observation time for its own scientists.
The Hubble Space Telescope can see objects billions of light-years away, allowing it to observe galaxies, stars, and other celestial objects located far beyond our own Milky Way galaxy. It has contributed significantly to our understanding of the universe's vastness and complexity.
Hubble refers to the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). It was launched on April 24 1990 from the space shuttle and has returned spectacular pictures to Earth of the solar system and beyond. See the Related Link below for more details. If you click on the 'Operations' tab when you are in the link, you can also see where Hubble is now, and when it will next pass over your location.
Scientists have used the Hubble Space Telescope to make numerous groundbreaking discoveries, including the expansion rate of the universe, the age of the universe, and the existence of supermassive black holes. Hubble has also provided detailed images of distant galaxies, nebulae, and planets within our own solar system, leading to a better understanding of the cosmos.
Edwin Hubble did not invent the Hubble Space telescope (HST).Edwin Hubble had been dead for forth years before HST was operational.HST is named after him. He was an astronomer.(See related links.)If anything can be said to be invented by Hubble, it is to be found in a few ideas that came out of a few discoveries he made such as the existence of the Universe.Only at the turn of the century with the construction of gigantic telescopes of almost a meter in diameter was it possible to distinguish the blobs known as nebulae as being outside of our galaxy. In the 1920s Hubble's observations confirmed the existence of other galaxies in the universe outside of our own galaxy, an idea that existed, but was controversial and lacked evidence earlier. (Earlier, the universe was thought to be infinite, but mostly empty except for our own little neighborhood of a few billion stars in the Milky Way. As always, we were the center of the Universe.)In the next years, Hubble expanded this with data from others to quantify the observation that the Universe was expanding. (Now called Hubble's Law.) This led, of course, to the first data supporting the Big Bang theory suggested in by Georges Lemaître in 1927.
No, Edwin Hubble had nothing directly to do with the Hubble Telescope, it was named for him because he profoundly changed the understanding of the nature of the universe. Hubble died before the the physical exploration of space began. Hubble also created his own Hubble telescope back in 1929 but it is not the orbiting Hubble telescope. The Hubble Space Telescope is designed to see deep into space. So it has taken many fascinating photos of the outer reaches of the universe, or in our own galaxy. It has accomplished taking many photos for scientists to study, and for us to see.

Edwin Hubble was an astronomer who worked with Earth-based telescopes, and who died in 1953, before the launch of the first artificial satellite. The Hubble Space Telescope was named in his honor almost 40 years later.Additional:(See related links.)If anything can be said to be invented by Hubble, it is to be found in a few ideas that came out of a few discoveries he made such as the existence of the Universe.Only at the turn of the century with the construction of gigantic telescopes of almost a meter in diameter was it possible to distinguish the blobs known as nebulae as being outside of our galaxy. The Hubble Space Telescope was flown into space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery, mission STS-31, on April 24, 1990. On the subsequent servicing mission, in December, 1993, flaws in the original optics were corrected.
I want to look closer to ojects in the sky at night, I want to build my own.
Everybody thinks differently and has there own ideas and imagination. Try using yours. : )

By giving it "eyeglasses" just like your optometrist does to fix your vision. Initially by replacing the "High Speed Photometer" unit with the "Corrective Optics Space Telescope Axial Replacement" unit. Later instruments had their own "eyeglasses", making the "Corrective Optics Space Telescope Axial Replacement" unit unnecessary and it was replaced with the new "Cosmic Origins Spectrograph" unit.
