You can't fall in space, there is no gravity. An object will travel as fast as it is accelerated and continue at that speed forever as there is no air resistence to slow it down.

Does space junk float in space?

In a sense. In space, technically no object floats, but rather is in continuous free fall. Contrary to popular belief there is gravity in space; it is the may force acting on objects. Most space junk is in orbit around Earth, meaning that, while Earth's gravity continuously pulls it down, it is moving so fast laterally that it never hits the ground.

How can astronomers tell how much objects in space weigh?

Weight is due to gravitational forces between two objects. A single object inspace without another one reasonably nearby, or even in gravitational free-falltoward another object, is weightless. So you can not weigh an object in space.Determining the mass of objects in space is another matter.

Are meteoroids moving through space?

Yes. Strictly speaking, there is no objective state of rest for any object in the universe, and all objects are in motion in relation to something. Meteoroids in space are in a constant state of free-fall.
