The decades of the space program in the US .. particularly during the period when
it was popular, well funded, and cool ... stimulated my curiosity to investigate and
better understand the physics of Hohmann transfer orbits and the specification of
orbital parameters, and to plan and schedule my outdoor observation time so as
to catch the visible passes of bright artificial satellites.
Knowledge of the solar system lets me know how to live in my "neighborhood". In earlier times this meant when to plant and when to harvest. It was and is the key to civilization.
if there were no solar system then there would be no life?
No alien life has been found so far; either inside or outside our Solar System.
The amount of Hydrogen it gets-? that doesnt answer anything. the sun is what gives life a chance to grow (we couldn't grow food without it) and its what keeps us in the solar system, without it the earth probably wouldn't have formed and we wouldn't be orbiting anything.
Yes, the planet Earth is part of the solar system, so all the life on Earth is in the solar system. Yes, our Earth is part of the Solar System. As to life on other planets - both within our Solar System and in other solar systems (planets around other stars), nothing has been proven yet, one way or the other. Specifically, no life has been found on other planets. It would seem probable, though, that what happened on Earth can happen again - perhaps on nearly any planet, perhaps only occasionally.
There is no "second smartest" planet in the solar system. By a stretch, Earth may be regarded as the "smartest" due to the presence of intelligent life. However, since it appears that no other planets in the solar system have life, they are all equally "not smart."

it could affect us if aliens come to earth but i cant say anything couse aliens havent been discovered
It's the only solar system we can confirm has life on a planet.
The moon comes near the sun and they from a solar ecliopses
The Jupiter helps to divert the path of asteroids which would have otherwise smashed into the Earth and end Life as we know it.
There is no known life anywhere in our solar system except on Earth. As currently defined our solar system only has 8 planets.
No alien life has been found so far; either inside or outside our Solar System.
it has life on it
You. Me.
Life?
That is a mystery my friend, is it not?
