There are three people permanently on the station, the crew that rotates out periodically. When the shuttle goes up, it carries up to seven additional people so we can have as many as ten at a time when the shuttle is there. And when Russian ships come up, usually there are two people aboard, so there's either three, five or ten people on the station
two to seven people can stay in a space shuttle at one time. so not over 8 people. I researched this so you know it is right. I am in middle school. just to let you know.
The capacity of a space station varies depending on its design and purpose. The International Space Station (ISS) can accommodate a crew of up to six people for long-duration missions. However, future space station designs may be able to accommodate larger crews.
As of 2021, around 580 individuals have traveled to space. This includes astronauts from various countries who have journeyed to space for missions to the International Space Station, aboard space shuttles, or on other spacecraft.
The Space Shuttle could accommodate a maximum crew of seven astronauts. This included two pilots and up to five mission specialists.
