A couple of answers:

One current estimate by scientists who advise the White House put the cost of

a round trip to the moon at about $3 billion (US). This would be over and above

what NASA currently spends on its projects. One way passage is really not an

option.

It is doubtful that NASA would not want to re-engineer all the equipment so that

increased safety and capability could be achieved. A few things would be the same,

but the rest (the bulk of the equipment) would be fresh out of the contractors' shops.

According to this link on CNN a private company charges $100 million per person.

This was five years ago, it should be less expensive now. $3 billion might be off a bit......

Another angle:

If you have to ask what it costs, then you can't afford it.
