You need to be more descriptive of what the error is. There are multiple paper money errors with some being worth no more than normal notes (minor cutting errors) to some being worth thousands of dollars (double denomination mules), without knowing what error you think you have, it is impossible to accurately value your coin.

How much is a 1974 twenty dollar bill star note worth in none circulated condition?

The circulated bill is only worth a bit more than face value. Check eBay and some of the big coin and currency dealers that have large e-business operations to see what they are getting for your note. Prices are volatile, and a lot will depend on the condition (as well as the demand).

How much is a 10 bill worth with a star on it?

A $10 bill with a star next to the serial number is considered a replacement note and is worth face value, which is $10. The star represents that the original note was damaged during the printing process and this replacement note was issued in its place.

How much is your 50.00 star note worth?

A $50.00 star note is worth face value ($50.00) unless it has unique attributes like being in uncirculated condition or having a rare serial number that may increase its value to collectors. Its worth would depend on these factors.

What does a star after the serial number mean?

If the Bureau of Printing and Engraving make an error in the printing of a banknote, the note has to be replaced. Any replacement notes are marked with a small star at the end of the serial number. Because these are reasonably rare, a perfect mint condition uncirculated 1999 $20 note would be worth about $60 instead of $30 for a standard note without the star. A worn, creased note that has been used is only worth its face value of $20.
