I'm not sure what you mean by "a 60 pound boy", since we're talking about
how his weight can change in different places.
If he weighs 60 pounds on Earth, then he weighs 9.93 pounds on the moon,
not counting the space suit he needs in order to breathe and survive there.
No, the world did not end in 2012 as predicted by some theories. This was based on the misinterpretation of the Mayan calendar. There is no scientific evidence to support the idea that the world will end in the near future.
Earth's gravity pulls equally on both a block of wood and a block of iron of the same size. Gravity depends on the mass of the objects, not their material composition. The weight experienced by each block will be based on their mass, with the iron block likely to be heavier due to its higher density.
The gas planets are any of the four large outer planets of the Solar System, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, which consist largely of gas and whose visible surfaces are not solid, though they have solid cores.
Well, the big problem would be air. Mars has an atmosphere, but it's very very thin... far thinner than on even the highest mountains on Earth. The highest atmospheric pressure on Mars is at the bottom of the Hellas Planitia, and it's about 1.16 kilopascals. For reference, sea level pressure on Earth is about a hundred times that, and even at the top of Mt Everest it's still 30x that. At a pressure of about six and a half kilopascals, water boils at human body temperature, meaning that's pretty much the absolute limit for human survival... anything less than that, even neglecting the fact that you need oxygen to survive, and the inside of your lungs would boil. So: Gas mask and oxygen tank. A pressure suit would also be a good idea. Next, you'd need water. There is some water on Mars in the form of ice. Even better, once you thaw it (in a pressurized environment so it doesn't boil), you can electrolyze it for oxygen. You'll need heat. Mars can, under idea conditions in certain spots, get to a nearly balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit or so, but that's pretty much an absolute maximum (and it's ground temperature of rocks that have been in the sun all day, not air temperature). The Viking landers have measured temperatures ranging from a high of about 0 Fahrenheit down to -160 F. Make that pressure suit pretty thick, and consider electrically heating it. Finally, you'll need food. There isn't any on Mars, and it's questionable whether you could grow any there, even in a greenhouse, because of a lack of organic nutrients in the soil.
Anyone of the 88 groupings of stars that appear in the celestial sphere & which they take his name from religious or mithologicals figures, animals or objects. This term also talks about delimited areas of the celestial sphere that understand the star groups with an certain name. The Greeks recognized & named forty-eight constellations. Many of these constellations were also recognized by the Arabs, Egyptians, & the Babylonian. In 1928, the International Astronomy Union fixed the boundaries of the eighty-eight constellations in the sky. Twelve constellations lie on the ecliptic & are known as "the Zodiacs." Part of Ophiuchus lies on the ecliptic, so that makes thirteen ecliptic constellations. Twenty-nine constellations are between the ecliptic & theNorth Celestial Pole plus the remainder of Ophiuchus. Forty-seven constellations lie between the ecliptic zone & the South Celestial Pole. The names of the constellations are given in Latin, because Latin was once the language of learning. The names used by the Greeks, Egyptians, & other people were translated into Latin. For convenience, the ancients named the constellations after a certain figure that it seemed to form in the sky. They refer to mythological or legendary men, women, & animals.
