To return a microscope to its storage area, first ensure that it is clean and free of any slides or debris. Lower the stage and place the objective lenses in the proper position, typically the lowest power lens. Carefully cover the microscope with a dust cover, if available, and then transport it securely to its designated storage area. Finally, store it in an upright position to prevent any damage.
That would depend on the magnification you are using.

There are many benefits associated with using a laser scanning confocal microscope. The main advantage is to obtain pictures one would not normally be able to receive at such depths.
The fine focus knob is used to bring the image into sharp focus on a microscope. This knob allows for precise adjustments to the focus of the image by moving the objective lens slightly closer or farther from the specimen.
The magnification of a microscope using the 40x objective is 40 times the actual size of the specimen being observed. To determine the total magnification, you must also consider the eyepiece (ocular lens) magnification, which is typically 10x. Therefore, if using a 40x objective with a 10x eyepiece, the total magnification would be 400x.
You would need to move the slide to the right in order to bring the object from the left side to the center of the field of view under the microscope.
You can't change the contrast on the microscope, that would have to be done using dyes.
The fine focus knob is the labeled part of the microscope that would most likely be adjusted to bring the specimen into sharp focus.
I would say to bring toilet paper to Uranus but since this question is about what an alien would bring I'm not sure. Recent scientific discoveries would point toward bringing a microscope, as to possibly locate your brain.
State two ways in which a microscope should be taken care of before storage
Ac would be better
Using high power objective lense
That would depend on the magnification you are using.

I have the solution to your problem! Cube storage would be able to help you with that, they will bring a storage device to your home for a small price and will take it and store it for you, you wont have to do any of the moving. (: Best of luck! www.cubesmart.com
The light is necessary when you are using a microscope because if you don't have the light turned on, then the object or specimen you would like to examine won't be showing up. The light makes you have the capabiltiy to see what your object looks like under the microscope, and if your light isn't being used, then you will not see your object, probably only darkness!!! (Hope this helped)
