The celestial sphere is a sphere, which contains the sky and encompasses the entire earth and has earth as the center of the solar system. While we know this not be true the model does allow for a more convient way to view what is around us.

So basically the model makes it easier for us to see constellations, asterisms, planets and stars in easy to understand model.

That is why it is a model and not a 100% accurate figure.

At the Equator you can see all constellations?

At the Equator, you can see all the constellations over the course of a year because you are situated at the midpoint between the northern and southern celestial hemispheres. This means that the entire night sky is visible to an observer at the Equator as the Earth rotates on its axis.

How can telescopes be used in scientific research to study distant celestial objects and phenomena?

Telescopes are used in scientific research to study distant celestial objects and phenomena by collecting and focusing light from these objects. This allows scientists to observe and analyze the properties of stars, galaxies, planets, and other celestial bodies. Telescopes can also detect different types of radiation, such as infrared or ultraviolet, which provide valuable information about the composition and behavior of these objects. By studying the light emitted or reflected by distant celestial objects, scientists can gain insights into their structure, evolution, and interactions with other objects in the universe.

What instrument you use today instead of the astrolabe?

Today, we use various technologies such as telescopes, satellites, and computer software to navigate and position ourselves, instead of the astrolabe. These tools provide more accurate and efficient ways to determine our location and track celestial bodies in the sky.

How does the center of the universe work in relation to the movement of celestial bodies?

The center of the universe does not exist in a physical sense. Celestial bodies, such as planets and stars, move in relation to each other based on gravitational forces. The movement of these bodies is influenced by factors like mass, distance, and velocity. The concept of a fixed center of the universe is a historical idea that has been disproven by modern scientific understanding.

What is the Size of Ursa Minor?

There are a couple of ways to answer. The constellation, one of the smaller ones, is about 250 square degrees. However, this is an "area" of the sky rather like a political unit on a map, designed to make sure every bit of the celestial sphere is assigned to something. The figure most of us discern when trying to locate the North Star is quite a bit smaller. The "actual" size of the asterism is somewhat illogical, since the stars from Polaris to Pherkad are not on a common surface (as was once thought) but are parsecs "in front" and "behind" each other as well as being laterally separated.
