no because if there is no air then there is no wind, so the first flag is NOT A THING LOL
The movement of the flag on the moon was due to the inertia of the fabric after being unfurled in the vacuum of space. Since there is no air resistance on the moon, the flag kept moving when it was set in motion by Armstrong, creating the appearance of waving.
yes but only if some one is waving it other wise no as space is a vacuum and has no air to push the flag. there was a metal bar holding p the flag on the moon by the way
One thing in space that goes on forever is the expansion of the universe. The universe is constantly expanding, with galaxies moving away from each other at increasing speeds. This expansion is not constrained by any known boundaries or limits.
Yes they did. From BadAstronomy.com (see below)Bad: When the astronauts are assembling the American flag, the flag waves. Kaysing says this must have been from an errant breeze on the set. A flag wouldn't wave in a vacuum.Good: Of course a flag can wave in a vacuum. In the shot of the astronaut and the flag, the astronaut is rotating the pole on which the flag is mounted, trying to get it to stay up. The flag is mounted on one side on the pole, and along the top by another pole that sticks out to the side. In a vacuum or not, when you whip around the vertical pole, the flag will ``wave'', since it is attached at the top. The top will move first, then the cloth will follow along in a wave that moves down. This isn't air that is moving the flag, it's the cloth itself. The moon hoax is a myth propagated by con artists that want to sell books. The American flag on the Endeavour space shuttle is positioned in the orientation that creates the illusion of the flag waving as the shuttle travels through the atmosphere. This design choice was intentionally made to reflect the dynamic nature of the space shuttle's missions.
you go to the roof to get a moving thing to get a cross the lake to get the space ship.

i have a theory. the flag could be moving because the man himself was moving and since space is a vacuum, he could be moving the particles around him, which caused to flag to move.. maybe An episode of MythBusters addressed this question. Using a vacuum chamber, they showed that the inertia used by the astronauts to secure the flag in place was enough to keep it waving for several full seconds after letting go.
No, a flag cannot wave in space where there is no atmosphere to create wind.
I thing the answer can be lowering the flag.
There is no such thing as a Jewish flag. The State of Israel has Israeli national symbols such as a flag that draw from Jewish inspirations. It is very similar to how there is no such thing as a Lutheran flag, but the cross on the Swedish flag is representative of how Lutheranism is the dominant religion in that country. The Israeli flag is blue and white.
There is no such thing as a 'chines flag'.
It means the thing the flag is on is a novelty or is new. 'The Red Flag' is the symbol of Communism.

On the moon
If you see anything that appears to be moving, then you know that relative to that thing, you're moving. That's the best and only thing you can do, because there is no such thing as 'really' moving ... only moving relative to something.
