yet there is no proof that there was any life on mars. but it is terrestrial as it has water and all the vital nutrients needed for life but it wont support life because its atmosphere is way too thin and it's pressure is so low that blood would boil at normal body temperature.

∙ 9y agoYes, Mars is terrestrial in the sense that it is a rocky planet like Earth, as opposed to a gas giant like Jupiter or Saturn. However, Mars is also known as an "inferior planet" because its orbit is closer to the Sun than Earth's.

∙ 13y agoMars is called terrestrial because like Earth, it is a rocky terrestrial planet. This is different from icy planets like Neptune and Uranus, and gas giants like Saturn and Jupiter.

The terrestrial planets, from largest to smallest, are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars.
No. Mars is a rocky planet, similar to earth in some ways. We are attempting at this very moment to determine if there was ever life on Mars, or if Mars could possibly sustain life in the future.
Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are known as terrestrial planets. They are primarily composed of silicate rocks or metals and have solid surfaces.
The four inner planets in our solar system are Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. They are also known as the terrestrial planets because they are primarily composed of rock and metal.
Earth is a terrestrial planet, characterized by a solid surface, water, and a breathable atmosphere. Mars is also a terrestrial planet, but it is smaller and colder than Earth, with a thin atmosphere and evidence of past water flow on its surface.
Mars is a terrestrial planet, not a gas giant. Mars is a terrestrial planet because the majority of it is rock, not gas.
