Mercury
The messenger satellite launched by NASA is to study the planet Mercury in order to better understand its composition, geology, atmosphere, and magnetic field. The data collected will help scientists uncover the planet's history and formation, as well as provide insights into the processes that shaped Mercury's surface.
NASA was launched by America in 1958, before that it was NACA which was launched in 1915 and was ended in 1958 when NASA launched, this year NASA would complete its 50th Anniversary.
NASA launched it in September 1977 from Cape Canaveral.
NASA recently launched the Landsat 9 satellite, a collaboration with the U.S. Geological Survey. This satellite will continue the mission of monitoring changes to the Earth's land and coastal regions.
It was launched in November the 3rd,1973 and it was going to Mercury.

The Magellan spacecraft was launched to study Venus by NASA on May 4th 1989.
The MESSENGER probe, which was launched by NASA in 2004, was designed to study Mercury, the innermost planet in our solar system. After a series of flybys of Earth, Venus, and Mercury itself, MESSENGER entered orbit around Mercury in March 2011. Its mission focused on mapping the planet's surface, studying its magnetic field, and examining its geological history. MESSENGER concluded its mission in April 2015 after exhausting its fuel and impacting the surface of Mercury.
