∙ 12y agoThe Ozone layer protects living things on earth from UV radiation from the sun. Without it would be increased occurances of sunburn and skin cancer because ozone filters out UV-B and UV-C radiation which can cause severe sunburn and genetic damage (aka skin cancer.) The primary radiation that gets through is UV-A but although this leads to sunburn and skin cancer it is much less harmful.
