Yes of course, the sun has been present for about 6 billion years, the earth has been present for about 4.5 billion years, recorded ice ages occurred between about 300,000 years ago until about 10,000 years ago.
The ice cream melts in the sun because it is supposed to be frozen but when the sun hits ice cream it takes the ice off of ice cream so it is not frozen.
The planet Mars.
The Earth will never crash into the sun because the Earth will go into it's ice age before it EVER gets near the sun. Once the Earth goes into the ice age, the sun will start to move away from the Earth. That is why the Earth will never crash into the Sun. Hopes this answers your question <3
Because the Earth travels round the Sun in an elliptical orbit and at present the closest approach the Sun during that elliptical orbit occurs during the Northern winter. However precession of the axis of the Earth's rotation means that in about 12 thousand years time, the closest approach will be during the Northern Summer.
Stars are present in the sky both during the day and night, but the bright sunlight makes them invisible to the naked eye. The sun's light is so intense that it outshines the light from other stars, essentially drowning them out. However, stars are still present and visible at night when the sun is not shining.
sun ended the ice age
sun ended the ice age
Even with the sun shining, the air was too cold for much ice to melt. Any ice that the sun's rays was able to melt could have quickly refreezed. In addition, ice reflects sunlight very well - about 80-90% of it at times. That means 80-90% of sunlight that does shine on it just bounces off back into the atmosphere. This compares to only about 20-30% over many other surfaces.
Chasing the sun
Is this a trick question? The age is the sun is approx 4.6 billion years!
No, UV light is not present at night because it comes from the sun and is not emitted by artificial sources during the night. UV light is only present during the day when the sun is shining.
The blowing ice crystals can block the sun during blizzards.
Yes. The SUN is a star!
It gives heat and without it an ice age would come.
An ice age will put more carbon into the atmosphere. The increase in carbon captures the Sun's energy and the planet begins to warm.

the reasons the ice stayed is because the sun couldn't reach it because if was block by miles thick of ashes and dust particles. Once it broke through, slowly but surely, it melted the ice.... i wonder.. if we are going to have another ice age anytime soon...
