There have never been any "fake" moon landings.
NASA doesn't have the technology to put a man on the moon any more. After Nixon gutted Apollo, all the people doing those sorts of things moved on. It seems that we will not be going to the Moon in 2020 either... "No bucks, No Buck Rogers"! I am posting some interesting links about the Apollo landings, that explain a lot of things that people nowadays don't know about going to the Moon. Hope you enjoy them!
Neil Armstrong flew in Gemini 8,Buzz aldin Gemini 12 and Michael Collins Gemini 10 The Gemini missions were all about making everything come together for athe moon landings for the Apollo program. After Apollo 11, they were deemed to be far too valuable to NASA to be sent back into space.
The Apollo 11 astronauts left a meter on the moon to find out if there are any moon quakes, well there are moon quakes, and they found it hostile windless and that there was no water on the moon then.
After Apollo 17 there have not been any plans for any moon mission. It was the Skylab and the Shuttle program.
Apollo 11-17 (with exception of Apollo 13; just watch the movie): 6.
The Apollo Project finished in 1972. If there is a return to the moon, it is unlikely to be called Apollo.

There have not been any manned landings on the "back" side of the moon, for the simple reason that radio communication with Earth would be very difficult.

Yes, thousands! There were 6 landings and all took photos, movies, and videos.
No one has died on the moon or during a moon landing except in the movies.
Not in the normal sense. There might be a bit of space debris following the moon landings.

No, only a few unmanned spacecraft have visited Venus. A manned flyby mission was planned by the US in the 1970s following the successful moon landings of the Apollo program, but it was cancelled.
The Russians did not make any successful moon landings, it was all unmanned.
