Well, if the sun decided to call it quits, Earth and the moon would be left in the cold, endless vacuum of space wondering where the hell all the light and heat went. Eventually, without the sun's gravitational pull to hold everything together, the planets would go careening off in all directions like a game of cosmic pinball. So, say your goodbyes now, because once the sun goes poof, we're all gonna go boing!
The Earth would spin of into space. To see a show where the Moon did that-search Space 1999.
The same thing that happens every night when the sun disappears...nothing! Gravity on Earth is not dependent on the Sun. But life on Earth is, gravity would be the least of Earth's problems if the Sun dissapeared
The earth-moon system would drift through space for ever or until they were captured by the gravitational force of some large mass.
If sun's gravity suddenly disappears then the planets will stop to revolve around the sun after some time and this duration is equal to the time taken by the light to reach from sun to other planets. For e.g. Time taken by earth to stop revolving and flying off in any direction = Time taken by light to earth from sun = 8 min. 20 seconds Also, planets will start to fly in any direction and they may collapse and in simple words: Solar system will collapse and life will disappear on earth.
The gravitational force between the Earth and the Moon will continue to exist and affect their orbits. Over time, tidal forces will cause the Moon to move further away from the Earth, which will result in a weaker gravitational force between them.
Is the question what might happen if computers suddenly ceased to exist, or is the question what might happen had computers - computer science and technology as we currently know it - never existed at all?

For that to happen, the interior of the Earth would have had to cool and weather would have ceased to exist. Not a pretty picture. Look at the moon as an example.
The earth doesn't spin because of gravity, and gravity has not ceased to exist.
nothing...LOL
if the ozone layer didn't exist the earth wouldn't either.....
No. It ceased to exist in or about 2005.
He ceased to exist. Both sides ceased fire. Their attention ceased as the teacher went on. Cease: Stop, Fade Away.
I think it would be daylight all the time.
We would not exist.
earth would no longer exist
It means that something has ceased to exist or be present.
