The Earth spins like a top around its own axis.
The Earth orbits the Sun.
The Sun has its own proper motion through the Milky Way galaxy, and orbits the center of the galaxy every 220 million years or so.
The Milky Way galaxy itself is moving, but because we don't have any fixed point of reference in the universe, we don't know in what direction.
As of now, there is no confirmed evidence of living things in outer space aside from Earth. Scientists continue to explore space for signs of extraterrestrial life, such as microbial organisms on other planets or moons.
The Sun is moving. How the sun moves depends on what type of motion one is asking about. There are several points to make here. 1. Five hundred years ago, there was a great debate about whether the sun went around the Earth or the Earth went around the sun. That was settled with the Sun being at the center of the solar system with the planets going around it. So, people said the Sun was the fixed center. 2. But, there is some movement to the Sun. Just as the Sun attract the Earth and other planets, the planets attract the Sun. The force of the planets on the sun do cause it to wobble some, but it is so small that it takes careful measurement to detect it. (As an aside, most of the planets that are discovered to be rotating around nearby stars are discovered because the stars wobble from exactly the same force of their planets pulling on them.) 3. The whole solar system is moving. The Sun is one of a hundred billion stars in our galaxy, the Milky Way, and they all rotate in a big swirl. It takes over a billion years for one complete motion around the galaxy, but we are actually moving very fast in this giant circle. 4. The whole galaxy is moving as part of the expansion of the universe, so the sun is moving with it and so are we.
Aside from spinning on its axis, the Earth also revolves around the sun, which takes a whole year (365 days). The spinning of the Earth depends on the latitude of the Earth. At the equator, the Earth spins at a speed of about 1,000 miles per hour.
A light-year is a measure of distance, not of time.
Buzz Aldrin was the second person to walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969. He followed Neil Armstrong as the lunar module pilot.
We are moving 1000mph with the earth, but we just usually act as though we aren't moving at all, because we don't feel it. When we walk at 1 mph aside from the movement from the rotation of the earth, we still get places. Also, when we jump, we don't suddenly stop moving, while the earth keeps rotating. We continue to move with the earth's rotation, because of inertia, which holds our momentum, when there is nothing stopping our movement.
the original goals of a social movement are sometimes swept aside during what stage?
they thought of Americans as anarchist and traitors again the king and the crown
I think revolutionary war started in Boston on March 5th 1770. When the Boston massacre begun
Lenin was the leader and hero of the October Revolution of 1917, but had nothing to do with the February Revolution in 1917. Stalin was a subordinate to Lenin at the time so he was not a leader at all. Karl Marx had died by the time of the revolution, so aside from planting the ideas of socialism, communism and a revolt by the people in their minds, he had nothing to do with the revolution itself. well this is helpfull
First of all, you should have asked 'Aside from the brutal conditions on St. Domingue, why did the island erupt in revolt?' Second, the turmoil in France during this time (French Revolution) was the element that most facilitated the revolt, aside from the slaves' harsh living conditions and treatment. Third, I hope that this helped you.
All eight planets are identical, except for their mass, diameter, oblateness, distance from the sun, orbital speed, rotation period, revolution period, orbital eccentricity, presence or absence of atmosphere, composition of atmosphere, depth of atmosphere, atmospheric pressure at the surface, presence or absence of natural satellites, number of natural satellites, presence or absence of rings, number of rings, surface temperature, composition of the solid body, magnetic field, density, inclination of the rotation axis to the orbital plane, and inclination of the orbital plane to the ecliptic. Aside from that, they're pretty much all the same.
Aside from the 'better person' she was motivated by the racial discrimination she met. Particularly as practiced by the federal government and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
I stood aside a tree I sat aside a famour baseball player.
aside - next to, I was aside of the carside - one part of, the triangle has three sides
I disagree with the premise of your question. It stipulates that the French Revolution had a single leader aside from rage resulting from opression and mass chaos and that had Gandhi been able to take control it would have been a revolution. But, in an attempt to answer, it would not have been very different. Had Gandhi been in control and tried to solve the problems peacefully, he could not have maintained power over a group out for blood.
Because we are moving along with the earth, and there is no relative motion between the earth and us. If we are seated on a train and watching the scenery go by, we don't "feel" the motion of the train as it sails down the track at freeway speeds (the jostling of the train aside). Same thing. It's a "frame of reference" thing from physics 101.
