What are the arguments against space exploration?

Expensive, very dangerous to people, it takes a lot of rocket fuel to escape Earth's gravity. It's very far away to even the closest neighbors in the solar system. Bigger, more important priorities here on Earth, such as urban renewal. There's no rush because the objects in the solar system are not going anywhere, so we can put it off until much later. There is nothing of monetary value on the Moon or Mars. While we can do somethings in Earth orbit we can't do on Earth, (such as looking at weather patterns), a lot of the activities in outer space are just not that important.
