It is my understanding that the sun and the moon are in an open relationship. I believe that their relationship started back in 2001 when the moon was walking home from a night working at a cabaret club. as the rain pelted down on her the sun, a kerb crawler, the sun pulled up and asked if she wanted to get in his car. she swiftly accepted and they moved to the position they are in today from then on. I hope this answer helps.

Yours,

Earth.

How does the interactions of the moon earth and sun cause phases and eclipses?

The phases of the Moon result from its position relative to the Earth and the Sun, as varying amounts of the Moon's surface are illuminated by sunlight. When the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun, we experience a new moon, while a full moon occurs when the Earth is between the Moon and the Sun. Eclipses happen when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align; a solar eclipse occurs during a new moon when the Moon blocks the Sun's light, and a lunar eclipse occurs during a full moon when the Earth casts its shadow on the Moon. These celestial interactions create the beautiful cycles of lunar phases and the dramatic events of eclipses.

What is it when the earth is between the sun and the moon?

When the Earth is between the Moon and the Sun you get a full moon, not a new Moon which occurs when the Moon is between the Earth and the Sun. You could also get a Lunar eclipse.

What happens when the moon passess between the sun an earth?

The event where the Sun journeys between the Earth and the Moon is called?

Are the moon sun and earth allined by magnetism?

No, the Earth, Moon, and Sun are not aligned by magnetism. The alignment of these three bodies is primarily due to gravitational forces. Magnetism does play a role in interactions between celestial bodies, but it is not the primary force responsible for their alignment.

Where is the moon in relation to Earth and the sun during new moon?

At the "new" moon, the moon is between the Earth and the Sun. When it is on a direct line between the Earth and Sun, that new moon becomes a solar eclipse.

When the earth is between the sun and the moon when is the moon up?

When the Earth is directly between the Sun and Moon, its shadow falls on the moon, causing a Lunar Eclipse.

How many miles between sun and the moon?

it averages at about 93 million miles between the sun and the moon.

What moon phase has earth directly between the sun and moon?

The full moon. Earth is ALMOST directly between the sun and moon, so the sun is "behind" us when we look at the moon. That is why the moon appears entirely lit to us, and is considered "full". If Earth IS directly between the sun and moon, which does not happen during most full moons, then there is a lunar eclipse.
