The sun, and the eight planets (Mercury through Neptune).

By definition, everything else is either a satellite, a comet, or a minor planet. Though an argument could be made that the asteroid belt (in which lies the dwarf planet Ceres) the Kuiper Belt (in which can be found the dwarf planet Pluto, among others) and the Oort Cloud (the presumed home of the comets, and which contains the dwarf planet Sedna, again among others) are themselves expansive enough to be counted as being among the solar system's major features.

Which is not a major planet in your solar system?

Pluto was recently stripped of the honour of being a planet

What are the two major parts of the solar system?

The two major parts of the solar system are the inner solar system, which includes the four inner terrestrial planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) and the asteroid belt, and the outer solar system, which includes the gas giant planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune) and the Kuiper Belt.

What are the 7 parts of the solar system?

"The Solar System may be divided by its components into three major components: the inner system, the near outer system, and the far outer system." There are not 7 parts as such.

Explain why the members of the solar system generally do not bump one another as they travel in space?

The members of the solar system generally do not bump into each other because they orbit around the Sun in relatively stable and predictable paths due to the laws of gravity. The vast distances between objects in the solar system ensure that they have a low chance of colliding. Additionally, the gravitational forces between objects in the solar system result in stable orbits that help maintain the spacing between them.

Sun in the solar system?

There are many types of objects in the solar system. First up there's the sun. Everything in the solar system revolves around it. Next are the planets. These are the largest objects rotating around the sun. Asteroids are too small to be planets. There are also dwarf planets, minor planets, and so on. Comets are these frozen balls that stay mostly in the Kuiper Belt or the Oort Cloud. Sometimes they come into Earth's view. Anything beyond Neptune is a KBO. (Kuiper Belt Object) Pluto was KBOed in 2006. The whole solar system is one light-year wide. The sun is like 99.6% of the solar system. Those are the main objects in the solar system.
