Pretty much every star you can see is larger than our sun, which is very small compared to the average. For example, Alpha Centauri (closest star/s) is 1.1 times the radius and 1.2 times the mass of our sun, while Antares (sixteenth brightest) is 16 times the mass and 700 times the radius.
