The Milky Way galaxy has several major arms, with the five primary ones being the Perseus Arm, the Norma Arm, the Scutum-Centaurus Arm, the Sagittarius Arm, and the Orion Arm. The Orion Arm, where our solar system is located, is a minor arm situated between the larger Perseus and Sagittarius arms. Each arm contains stars, gas, and dust, contributing to the galaxy's structure and dynamics.
A regular Milky Way bar typically weighs about 1.59 ounces, while a fun size Milky Way bar weighs approximately 0.36 ounces. To equal the weight of a regular Milky Way, it would take about 4 to 5 fun size bars, depending on the exact weight of the fun size bars.
Planet Hotbeat's Copy Abilities can be found in Stage 5 of Milky Way Wishes in the game Kirby Super Star. They are located in several spots throughout the level, and Kirby can use them by inhaling and copying the abilities of enemies in that area.
About 70 percent of the mass of the Milky Way has yet to be discovered by scientists. This missing mass is known as dark matter, which exerts gravitational forces but does not emit or block light, making it difficult to detect.
there are millions and billions of galaxies. I will tell you 5 1:Our Milky Way galaxy 2:Cartwheel galaxy 3:Andromedia galaxy 4:Pegasus galaxy 5:Circinus
Yes, the Milky Way IS going to crash into the Andromeda galaxy in 5 billion years. Everything in the two galaxies is going to be destroyed. So even if the galaxy is like star wars by then. Every thing will die.
It's really impossible for us to know but we can give pretty good simulations. You see Science is techniccaly limited to what humans can observe. Seeing that the only way to observe the milky way is to travel 1,000,000 light years away is impossible you can't scientifically prove how many arms we have. How ever by calculating the distance, and right ascension of millions of stars we can get a good guess. Most pictures will agree that the Milky Way has something to the effect of 5 arms. It seems like much more because each arme loops around 3-4 times.
it is predicted that Andromeda and the Milky Way will collide within the next 5 billion years.
The distance from Earth to the center of the Milky Way is approximately 25,000 light-years.
in about 5 billion years when the adromeda galaxy collides with the milky waybtw the adromeda is bigger than the milky way, about 1/2 largerCRAP SAUCE!!!!!!!
Ace Ventura Pet Detective - 1995 The Milky Way 2-5 was released on: USA: 1 November 1996
Not at the moment but in about 5 billion years it will merge with the Andromeda galaxy.
200 million years.
i think it will in about 5 billion years because every thing dies
They will collide in approximately 3 to 5 billion years time!
No. The sun is actually in the top 5% of stars in terms of size.
It is estimated that about 5-10% of yellow dwarf stars in the Milky Way have solar systems, based on current scientific observations and data.
