Ceres....
Is located in the asteroid belt and is considered a dwarf planet because of its size!
Eris....
Is located in the kuiper belt and is also so tiny that it can not be classed as a planet
Pluto....
Is located in the kuiper belt but does not orbit or is orbitted by Eris . Pluto was classed as a dwarf planet in 2006 when they realised it was so small to be classed as a planet!
By the way I am 11 years old and hope to become can astomener when I am older I am about to leave primary school but I read much more than picture books!
Do you think I could have a carrer in space research and astromany?
There are three: Pluto, Haumea, and Makemake. Eris is notin the Kuiper Belt(it's a scattered disk object) and neither is Ceres (it's in the asteroid belt).
However, Eris probably originated in the Kuiper Belt, and it's a fair bet that Triton (one of Neptune's moons) did as well. Both of these are larger than any currently known KBOs.
There are five dwarf planets; Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Eris.
Most famously Pluto (in 2006) and Ceres - a large asteroid between Mars and Jupiter.
There are only 8 major planets in the solar system, since Pluto (the old ninth planet) was re classified as a dwarf planet. If we did count the 5 additional dwarf planets, then Pluto would be the tenth one out, since there is a dwarf planet called Ceres between Mars and Jupiter.

Given that Pluto is now considered a dwarf, our solar system actually contains 8 planets and 5 dwarf planets. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The dwarf planets are Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Make, and Eris. To be considered a planet, and not a dwarf planet, the body has to orbit the sun, have enough gravity to pull itself into a sphere, and to have cleared objects out of its orbit.

If you only count the 8 major planets, then the two middle planets are Mars and Jupiter. If you count all 13 major and dwarf planets, the middle one is Saturn.
8 planets and 5 dwarf planets, so 13 in total. There are some additional dwarf planet candidates that have not been officially categorised yet.
There are currently five official dwarf planets: Pluto, Ceres, Eris, Makemake and Haumea.
No. Of the five objects currently recognized as dwarf planets, two do not have moons. Those objects are Ceres and Makemake.
The other planets are not similar to dwarf planets.
The other planets are not similar to dwarf planets.
our dwarf planets are Pluto
dwarf planets are smaller than regular planets
Dwarf planets are smaller than regular planets. Dwarf planets are smaller than the 8 major planets of our solar system. They are not quite planets as they have not cleared their orbit of sufficient matter. They are roughly spherical in shape and orbit the sun directly, so fulfil these two criteria, but have not achieved the third (sufficiently clearing their orbits).
Actually Dwarf planets are planets which are very small in size and cannot be called planets but not as small to be called asteroids, so the name dwarf planets.
i now the radius of the dwarf planets
No. Planets do not have dwarf planets. A planet-sized object orbiting a larger planet is a moon. Dwarf planets orbit the sun independent of other objects.
Well, we cannot say that they are two new planets but they are new discoveries and considered as dwarf planets. Xena and Ceres
