There is only one Jovian planet - Jupiter, and only one terrestrial planet - Earth. Your question makes no sense.

Planets are categorised as being "rocky" - Mercury Venus Earth Mars, "gaseous" the gas giants Jupiter and Saturn, and "icy" the ice giants Uranus and Neptune.

Jovian refers to the Jupiter and its moons.

Terrestrial refers to Earth and is moon.

A different viewpoint: In fact the gas giants are sometimes referred to as the "Jovian planets".

Also, the inner, rocky planets are often called the "terrestrial planets".

As regards the "shared characteristic", there are several possible answers.

For example, they all revolve around the Sun in the same direction and in roughly the same orbital plane.

The terrestrial planets are rocky and the Jovian planets probably have rocky cores, but this is not known for certain.

What feature is shared by all the inner planets?

They are very small compared to outer planets, mostly made up of rocks, closer to the sun and they do not have rings.

What is the commonality shared by the following planets in the solar system Jupiter Neptune and Saturn?

All of these planets are mostly composed of gases like hydrogen, helium, and methane. They do have solid surfaces though, at the surface of their cores.

How many planets do we have?

There are 9 planets in the space known as mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranum, neptune, pluto. There used to be 9 planets. But the International Astronomical Union discovered Eris, beyond Pluto which was a few hundred kilometers larger than Pluto. Then there could have been 10 planets. So the IAU came up with three 'conditions' to be a planet: - they need to orbit the Sun - they need to have enough gravity to pull themselves into a ball - they need to have cleared out all other objects from their orbit. Although Pluto orbits the Sun, and has pulled itself into a sphere, Pluto cannot clear other celestial debris from its orbit. Earth is more than 1 million times more bigger than all the other material in its orbit combined, while Pluto is just a tiny fraction of the rest of the icy material around it. The IAU decided to name Pluto and Eris as dwarf planets. Asteroid Ceres meets those requirements, so it is also classified as a dwrf planet. Summing up; there are currently 8 planets and 3 dwarf planets in our Solar system
