Although they appear to be different at first glance, and in many ways the Sun, Moon and Earth have significant differences, they all obey some basic laws of physics:
Gravity
All matter in the universe exerts a pull of force on local space. The more mass an object has, the more gravity it exerts. All three objects exert some gravitational force; however, as the Sun has the most matter, it has the most gravitational pull out of the three; and as the moon has the least amount of mass, it has the lowest gravitational pull.
Magnetic Fields
Magnetic fields of the Sun, Earth and Moon are generated, as is currently understood, by the core of each object. The magnetic fields extend out of the object, and surround the body. Due to the differing compositions of each object, however, the magnetic fields are not only stronger in the larger objects, but even have different types and locations of magnetic poles.
Development Cycle
As it's understood by cosmologists, when a large amount of nebulous gasses are pulled together by their combined forces of gravity, the pressure eventually ignites the gasses, creating a star. When the star eventually explodes, the resulting cloud of dust and matter coalesce into orbiting bodies, while a new star is created in the process to heat the planets and their moons. This cycle is said to bind our Sun, Earth and Moon together over the course of billions of years.

The sun (Way bigger)Then the earthThen the moonThe sun is the largest out of the moon, sun, and earth.moon earth sun
The moon is to the earth, as the earth is to the sun.
as the earth moves so does the moon and where the earth orbits the sun and the moon orbits earth as the earth moves around the sun the sun projects light and it hits the moon and we can see the light from the sun reflecting off the moon
No, the moon orbits around the Earth, not the sun. This is due to the gravitational pull between the Earth and the moon. The moon's orbit around the Earth is what causes its phases and affects tides on Earth.

During a new moon phase, the moon is not visible from Earth as it is located between the Earth and the sun. The Earth experiences a solar eclipse when this occurs. During a full moon phase, the entire sunlit side of the moon is visible from Earth. The Earth experiences a lunar eclipse when this occurs. Throughout the different phases, the moon exhibits varying amounts of illumination and visibility from Earth.

Venus and Mars
Sun, Earth, Moon. The moon is covered by the Earth's shadow.
There is no Sun - Moon system The Earth revolves around the Sun, the Moon revolves around the Earth. There is a Sun - Earth system and a Earth - Moon system.
how do he earth and moon rely on the sun
The sun (Way bigger)Then the earthThen the moonThe sun is the largest out of the moon, sun, and earth.moon earth sun
The moon is to the earth, as the earth is to the sun.
When the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, it is a Full Moon but when the Sun, Moon and Earth are directly in line - we will get a lunar eclipse.
