When mixing paint (subtractive) red and green gives a brown color. When red and green light are combined (additive, e.g., using diodes) a yellow color is seen.

The color you would see is green because it is created by a mixture of yellow and cyan light, which are the primary colors that result from the subtraction of red and blue from white light.
White light. Seeing as grass is green, PETANDPEZ would have to say that the colour reflected is green. However, when you see BROWN grass, green light is still being reflected only at a much lower intensity.

Reflected. The other colors of the light spectrum are absorbed. In fact, this is how all 'color' works - whatever the object. A red ball, a white shirt, etc. The color you see is the color being reflected back at your eyes, while the other colors are absorbed by the object.
